Sunset Camel Ride & Erg Chebbi Treks - Camel Trekking In Merzouga Of Morocco
From the Auberge situated on the foot of the dunes, you will take a short camel ride for 1/2-hour to dive into the sea sand to reach the biggest and highest dunes for a wonderful view of the sun setting up while admiring the calm and peace of Sahara. 1) Overnight Camel Treks In Sahara Camp - Night In A Nomad Tent

From the hotel at the edge of the dunes. You can take a camel trip and overnight in the Sahara Desert. You will trek on a dromedary for an hour and half onto the dunes to watch the sunset. Then continue across the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach the camp to spend the night in Nomad Berber tents and enjoy a traditional dinner. Enjoy drum party and browse the starry night sky. In the next morning, get very earlier to see the breathtaking sunrise. After breakfast, the caravans will transfer you back to the hotel over the dunes for shower.

2) Camel trek experience : 2 nights in the dunes of Erg Chebbi

This trip begins after a relaxed lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels will be packed with food, blankets and everything else which we will need. The trek will start right into the desert, where it is completely secluded. The path we take willl lead us to a small oasis right in the middle of the dunes. This is where we willl spend the night. It will be a magical night when the sky is clear of cover and stars sparkle and shine with intensity. During the first night, there will be a wonderful dinner around a campfire. In the morning, after having breakfast we will have around 2 hours to reach our next destination. We will stop for lunch next to a desert tree Tamarist for about 1 1/2 hrs. In the shadow of this tree, we will have our lunch. After lunch we head towards the home of a Touareg family with whom you will spend your second night and share some time with them. Next day. we take you back to the beginning point sahara garden after having your breakfast. *Note, this tour can be done in reverse. The first night is spent with a Touareg family and the second night is spent at the oasis.

3) Camel trek nomade : 3 nights in the dunes of Erg Chebbi

Next day after having our breakfast with the Touaregs we head towards another small oasis which is in the middle of the desert. Before reaching the camp we stop on the way for lunch. Your 3rd night will be spent with a Berber nomad family living at this particular oasis. During dinner we will have a fantastic drum party. After breakfast we travel back to the beginning point sahara garden Each day will involve between 90 minutes to 2 hours of either riding a camel or walking along side one.
