Circuit 7M – Marrakech 7 days – ROUND TRIP (1500 km/R)

Day1

Departure from Marrakech to Zagora, passing through the mountains of the Tizi N tichka with lunch along the way, arrival in the afternoon at Ouarzazate with visit to the Kasbah, departure for Zagora (across the Draa Valley) where will we have dinner

 and accommodation in a riad.

Day2

Departure from Zagora and move to Tamagroute where we will visit the Qur’anic library and women’s artisanal cooperatives. In the afternoon visit to the Kasbah of M’hamid and departure for ERG CHEGAGA (60 km away from M’hamid), sunset walk in the desert with the camels, dinner and accomodation in a nomads’ bivouac.

Day3

After breakfast, we will travel in 4×4 through the dunes of Lac Iriqui and the plains of black pebbles, we will take again the asphalted road towards the village of Foum Zguid, to arrive at Taznakht where we will visit a cooperative of Berber carpets made by women of the surrounding villages. Return and accommodation in a riad in Ouarzazate with dinner.

Day4

Departure from Ouarzazate towards the Gorges du Todgha, passing through the beautiful path of the Valley of roses, trekking along the gorges, with dinner and accomodation in a typical riad to the Gorges du Todgha.

Day5

in the morning we will depart towards the dunes of Merzouga, stopping in an archaeological zone where there are many prehistoric fossils, lunch in Rissani, a typical Berber village with an ancient Kasbah. Afternoon arrival in Merzouga and sunset route ridding camels. You will live your Morocco travel trip living an authentic desert experience! Dinner and accommodation at Merzouga in a nomads’ bivouac, an night with traditional music of the Sahrawi desert.

Day6

Departure from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, along the route we will pass through the Berber villages of Anif and Tazarine, where we will take the road to the Draa Valley, here we will visit the palmeraie. Accommodation in a typical riad.

Day7

Starting from Zagora, retracing the Draa Valley we will arrive to Agdez and we will pass through the Atlas mountains. Lunch and afternoon visit to the Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou. Located 30 km from Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou is an ancient Berber Kasbah, heritage of UNESCO, which has kept intact the architecture and the rhythms of life. In the evening return to Marrakech.
